Pros

It honestly really depends on what team you are on. Each team tends to have a slightly different culture. Mine is phenomenal, and the learning opportunities are great for entry level and the customers are the best to work with. I feel like I'm surrounded by a bunch of close friends & couple of really amazing team leads.. We're able to agree and disagree openly, which is fantastic for engineer that sometimes needs to make difficult decisions quickly in the project.

Cons

Across all teams, tasks and team objectives can move up quickly, and some people just can't handle the context switch. This isn't a "con" for everyone, but if you want to work in a static environment from 9am to 5pm, you probably won't enjoy this place. Also, if you're a minimum effort kind of person, you'll probably feel very out of place in the company. Everyone I've met works with more ownership for their deliverables. If you're not looking to do the same, you'll feel very left out.

Pros

Decent hiring standards. Small team sizes that enable fast movement of ideas. A less than bureaucratic workplace. Some of the US based managers are so awesome with the way they field client calls and weekly meetings and you'd definitely learn a thing or two in time management. Technology wise, there is decent opportunity in working with leading internet OEMs and picking up solid skills in L2/L3 network engineering. Good appraisal process (for salaries).

Cons

Insane work loads. Forget having a work life balance. Time difference between India and California makes it difficult for engineers to sync. Engineers often have to stay late or report very early to get some face time / call time. New graduates are going to gain little by joining, especially the folks who have little inclination towards L2/L3 network engineering. It is possible that you may feel underutilised or overworked without any real skill development. Enforcement of service agreenments. Not so great growth opportunities (though the same cannot be said about salaries). Tough luck if you want to get a foot in the door into management because you may stay an engineer for a really long time at embedUR.

Pros

Well if you wanna say normal salary package, cheap evening snacks, partially AC environment and jovial infact really good colleagues as pros.! Then yeah lot of pros!

Cons

- there will not be learning, even if your a part of development team. - you can never expect work ethics from this company -they are not a start up, believe me thats how they start in their interview talks but they are neither a start up or a proper company. -all the other reviews about management is true, thats what i see these managers and hr do in office. -i have worked for more than 3 years in this company but all they care is somehow getting the output, they don't have a proper structure for work or training. - also to mention the internal politics are really dirty. - they don't have work discipline managers call you on weekends!
