Pros

* Most people were "nice" * Occasional free meals * Decent Atmosphere

Cons

* A mom and pop show, they just don't know it * Poor leadership and management * Questionable business ethics * NOT team oriented * Lack vision * Big talk, very little behind that talk * Unprofessional * Zero vision * Coaches are untrained and unqualified (luck as a recruiter doesn't mean someone can coach) * Could be viewed as a 21st pyramid scam / sweat shop for recruiters * All of this will fly above the heads of the "family" leadership

Being a disruptor in the recruiting industry is an undertaking that requires vision, innovation, a willingness to take smart risks and the ability to build a talented, committed, hardworking team. It’s these characteristics that explain gpac’s success. Very few recruiting firms can tout the successes that gpac has and continues to achieve in our industry. It’s the vision and hard work of this family business that has grown gpac from a mom and pop shop of just a few recruiters to a thriving network of over 200 recruiters. Whereas many companies of this size have intense hierarchies, gpac members have unlimited access to leadership and the ability to tap into well over 100 years of collective recruiting knowledge and experience. What further sets us apart is that 80% of our deals are splits. This speaks to the power of the network and the commitment to teamwork across the board. We know our work hard, play hard culture isn’t the right fit for everyone and we are not happy to hear it wasn’t the right fit for you. At the end of the day, we’re truly proud that the opportunity we offer has changed so many lives. At gpac, you absolutely get out what you put in. We hope for you what we hope for all of our people, that in whatever opportunity you pursue, you will find happiness.

Pros

If management likes you, they will help you succeed

Cons

You are micromanaged to the extreme. They say that if you follow their principles you will succeed and if you don't succeed they will help you this is the biggest lie they will tell you. Even if you do exactly what they say and you don't have the send outs they will get rid of you the only way to stay is to lie to people in order to hit your send outs. They say they want you to treat this like running your own business but if you don't put in 100 hours a week it's not good enough there is no such thing as work life balance they expect you to be working 24/7. God forbid you have a sick child it's the end of the world and they ask you if you have given up. Not a good company they will tell you and the clients anything to get you to be there. If you are lucky enough to get into an undeveloped territory run! If you don't get things going in a few weeks that's unacceptable to them. This review really wont matter they will make their employees go online and give them 5 star reviews to flush out any bad ones.

Pros

The only pro to this company is the ability to work from home.

Cons

Everything else. I thought the negative reviews were just people who sucked at their job and got mad but I was wrong. Gpac is 100% a scam company. I honestly can’t even believe I fell for their s***. They have you post jobs that do not exist. They have you cold call people at their place of employment and expect them to talk to you for 45 minutes and convince them to leave their current company. The “coaches” are never available when you need them. The turnover is high, which they tell you is because people aren’t motivated enough, but is actually due to the fact that people see through the bs quickly and choose to leave. They have a ridiculous 30% placement fee so if you place someone with a $100k job, the employer gets charged $33k. No one in their right mind is going to pay such a ridiculous fee. They make you pay to use the “tools” (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc). My first paycheck after three WEEKS was only $598. I’ve heard people earning as low as $400. No one can live on that. Good luck using the bathroom or doing anything at all during the work day. They treat you like a child. If you turn your camera off at all they hound you. If you enjoy scamming people and have no morals, this is the perfect job for you. If you want a legitimate job and paycheck, go ANYWHERE else.
