Don't do it

Pros

Remote work, eventually could make $

Cons

Terrible management. Mircro-management beyond anything I've ever seen - mixed in with "Treat this like it's your own business", mixed with daily threatening your job. Terrible technology and very antiquated recruited and marketing methods. Very very antiquated. They like to say - "this method has been proven for over 30 years". Uh - times have changed - update your methods. Also - very shady business practices. REQUIRED job postings for jobs that don't exist, excessively high fees they won't allow you to negotiate (much higher than the industry standard). All so some people in Sioux Falls can get rich. Randomly interrupt you with suprise video meetings that are mandatory - nevermind you were actually trying to talk to a client or prospect or manage your workload.

Pros

Nothing at all. Maybe a good start for an 18 year old first Job

Cons

Where do I start wow... this "company" does not value its employees you are just a number. They regularly hire 30-50 new recruiters every 2 weeks. They will sell you this pipe dream you too can be just like so and so and make 800k a year which is not true. it's a joke but I guess that's what you have to do when you have about 3-5% retention on new hires. This company is extremely unethical and preaches to always have 300-500 active job postings (Which you the recruiter pay for) AKA positions that don't exist from there you collect and screen candidates add them to your database and get them excited about a position you most likely don't even have open. (Fishing and misleading innocent people trying to put food on the table for their families) but you are trying to help them okay..... You essentially pay to work there you get a measly $2000 a month draw before taxes. Then you get bumped up to $3000 draw that just builds up every month and after taxes and the $300 a month, they charge you to use your "tools" you will be lucky to make $2000 a month. Then they guilt trip you that you now owe them money for your draw and you are in debt to the company. Trust me on this one if you have any self-respect do not take this "opportunity" it will ruin your relationship as you fight to explain why you can't pay your bills

Pros

They will teach you the basics as to what it takes to be a successful recruiter. There are some really talented people that work there...If you can wade through the politics and the hurdles management puts in place...you can learn how to be an effective recruiter.

Cons

There are only a couple managers who actually have verified track records as far as being successful recruiters. They expect you to do things they've never actually been successful doing. They will micro-manage and mismanage the talented folks who are there. Recruiters are successful in-spite of management...not because of it. The compensation structure is a joke.
