Pros

Small company number of employee are less so get more exposure and learn lot of basics of technology in order to build new features. Gives the feeling of Product based company.

Cons

Lot of new work already done but you get to see architecture of an enterprise level project. Need good architects for developing new feature or revamping the old once too.
