Not the place for career-minded individuals

Pros

Easy to get a job here. They will hire and retain literally anyone with a pulse. Helping to keep work in the USA that is almost entirely done overseas.

Cons

Don't expect anything near QA industry-standard pay or secure employment. You literally may show up for a scheduled shift only to find the building locked and be informed via email the following day of mass layoffs. This happened to dozens of people when I worked there. Supervisors are chosen, I don't know how. Temporary employees with zero experience in tech or leadership and poor attendance records are hired. I don't want to accuse them of deliberate discrimination, but it does not hurt your chances for advancement if you are young, white and male. Extra points if you spend at least 85% of your free time reading graphic novels and playing video games. True leaders need not apply.

Pros

Casual dress, relaxed atmosphere, friendly people, free lunch, cheap snack and drink machines, company paid lunches every other month, interesting work when you have work. great for a person new to the industry who wants to learn new skills and build your resume.

Cons

Poor management, poor HR dept, lack of response to emails, lack of communication, no raises, limited time off, lots of slackers, lots of down time, rare advancement, constant movement of work space equipment.
