Pros
- Real world experience - Great coworkers - Not confined to one station. There are opportunities to work on both the news and sports stations if you want. So if your a sports guy, but your primary role is on the news station, there will be chances to work on the sports station and vice versa. - Fantastic management. Both station directors are the nicest people I have ever met and still in contact with them today.
Cons
- PAY IS HORRIBLE! Only work here if you are in school or if you need a second job for extra income. - Forced to stay under 30 hours, unless otherwise approved by management - 0 creative control/input in the shows you produce. Talent tells you what they want and you are forced to follow it, regardless if you think it sounds good. It's the talent's way or the highway.
