Pros

It’s not the worst place to have on your resume since everyone has heard of it. Pay wasn’t terrible in my case, but I know many who were underpaid. Some real talented people in the lower ranks.

Cons

Some of the worst managers around. People who have no idea how to inspire and coach people and think managing is just telling people to be on time. HR is horrible, any actual person from HR that you interact with just directs you to workday and/or HR4U. Only way to get ahead is to suck up to superiors and allow them to play out their power trips at your expense. Lip service about “being a family” and “great work/life balance”. Absolute LIES. You’ll get texts and emails at all hours and if you don’t respond you’re reprimanded for bad communication skills. Don’t know if this is wide spread but my boss constantly drank in the office. Sent weird late night emails and didn’t remember the next day.

Pros

Great perks (if you can get them approved before the mangers take them)

Cons

They have no regard for human beings. Management running the NY office are dillusional and make ridiculous requests of employees. Each manager has a secret and it is destroying the office. Culture and morale are at an all time low. But, they magically reduced debt by 15B (and gave all senior management a raise and contract extension). I won't names names, but that's coming in the media and courtroom. Look in the mirror when you blame salespeople for your top stations plummeting in the ratings and revenue. Take a deeper look before you find yourselves back in bankruptcy. Advancement should be based on abilities, not who's banging who, or who is protected by who. Horrible management.
