Pros

Extremely high earning potential in an energetic environment. This position gives you the resources to sell all of iHeart's offerings on a national and local level. Advancement internally seems to be very possible and encouraged. The work/life balance is a point of emphasis and pretty well maintained compared with previous employers.

Cons

As with any sales position, income will be dynamic from month-to-month. Very high demands on your activity levels and information retention. Must be organized and self-motivated or you will find trouble dealing with the pressures of this position.

A Struggling Company

Pros

Big Company Good training A lot of nationwide examples to follow and apply to current market.

Cons

Failing medium - not enough people listen to radio anymore. Management is a revolving door - constantly being replaced. Expenses are not reimbursed - a standard in most sales positions. Too much trade between businesses. AE's do all the work and get paid nothing. Charge backs - you owe money back to the company if clients don't pay

Over-worked and Under-paid

Pros

A few perks with concert tickets. But that's about it. Best to just buy a ticket and work for a reputable company.

Cons

Expected to work long hours to get job but no overtime pay. Constant turnover. No room for advancement, no support from upper management. Lots of internal conflict and backstabbing. They paint a rosy picture but it's a fairy tale. Drowning in debt. Obsolete software. Will not update systems to run more efficiently.
