Pros

Successful technology startup that is growing quickly Relatively lax culture where nobody is micromanaging you Fun perks like game room, happy hours, snacks Generous PTO and benefits Lots of flexibility and autonomy afforded to even low-level employees Still relatively small; you can have an impact

Cons

Lack of clear management structure leads to chaos Employee roles and responsibilities are not well defined; you end up being overwhelmed with too many tasks that are not your job but somebody has to do them Little attention paid to process and how to improve efficiency, structure, culture, etc. Culture and leadership is rather combative; you have to fight to get things done Leadership is often disorganized and hard to depend on Work-life balance is rare; many employees work long hours and are expected to take work home with them Lack of structured roles and responsibilities also makes career development opportunities opaque

Pros

The culture among peers is great. People are very friendly and it's a pretty solid work life balance.

Cons

Managers are unqualified and unhelpful, treat people like cogs in a machine and will never take responsibility, will always push down to the people below them. They will speak to you like a politician and never give any helpful advice.

Pros

Really good life/work balance. Benefits (medical insurance) is on pretty good level (for CA)

Cons

Prepare that HR will lie to you during hiring process . everything that they said during the phone call should be duplicated via email. In my case they promised me that I will be eligible for salary adjustment during nearest PR but my manager said that I was not. HR just said that they didn't say that. Also I was told that my hiring bonus (RSU) will be all mine if I leave the company after 3 years of employment - but that's also not truth. Annual raise is much beyond inflation rate.
