Pros

Good learning experience to start a tech sales career.

Cons

There is no culture. Unrealistic quotas. Horrible leadership. This company does not care about closing deals and bring in wins. They care about themselves and generating pipeline.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to hear you found value in the learning opportunities at the start of your tech sales career with us. We’re sorry to hear the rest of your time here didn’t reflect the kind of culture and support we strive to build. Feedback like this—while difficult to read—is important to us, and we take it seriously. Over the past year, we’ve made changes across our go-to-market leadership, sales enablement programs, and performance expectations to create a more sustainable, supportive environment for our team. We know there’s always more to do, and we remain committed to listening, learning, and improving—both in how we lead and how we grow.

Pros

The workplace offers a commendable work-life balance, ensuring employees are not overwhelmed with their workload. The workload assigned is reasonable, allowing for a manageable and stress-free environment. The atmosphere is light and easy-going, fostering a positive work culture. If there were an option to give half-star ratings, I would rate it 3.5 stars overall.

Cons

While the work environment is undoubtedly positive and laid-back, I found the career advancement opportunities to be quite limited. For developers seeking exposure to cutting-edge technologies that they can apply to future roles, this company may not be the best fit.

Pros

Impact offers good opportunities in a fast-growing niche. I feel as though my manager genuinely cares about my progression in my career as well as my wellbeing, and I am also able to expand my expertise into areas within the company that I find to be exciting.

Cons

The workload can, depending on your department, be quite heavy at quarter end, and otherwise Impact could be better about cross-departmental communication about processes that change over time.
