Thank you for your post - we appreciate you taking the time to do so. And we do hear the feedback on the left and the right hand. Growing pains can definitely lead to some confusion and we are working diligently to tear down silos and create greater transparency so that future feedback references how aligned and coordinated we are as an organization. Thank you again for your feedback!

Pros

nCino employs hard-working yet FRIENDLY people. Being a kind person is in our DNA.

Cons

While I am good with the "back to the office" mandate and would rather work from an office more than WFH, I wanted to share that it does not fully solve the collaboration issue. Think about it. We had a surge of remote hiring during the pandemic and we are also integrating folks from our acquisition of Simple Nexus. Over half of our employees do not live in Wilmington. Therefore, "back to the office" doesn't solve the collaboration problem. I don't have the solution and I'm not criticizing, but some days I come to the office and it feels more like a library. I would say being in the office is more to socialize (hey, that's not a bad thing... COVID was so isolating) than to collaborate currently. In sum, we don't have the same buzz that we did before 2020, but I will say I am thankful that we have more buzz than we did during COVID!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. And the collaboration piece is challenging! While we have seen improvement with those who are in office, like many global companies, we are still figuring out how to effectively engage and collaborate with distributed teams. It helps us in that, to your point, we have FANTASTIC people who work hard and actually figure these things out and deliver really great work. But we are going to keep working on this until we get better and better at it. It's important! And so glad to hear that you like the Water Cooler sessions. It's such an incredible thing for us all that we have a CEO who wants to engage with us all and ensure that everyone has clarity on where the company is going, what our challenges are and celebrate our accomplishments with us. Thank you again for taking time to post this. We appreciate you!
