Pros

Opportunities for growth. Intentional culture with a focus on communication and personal development. Challenging projects (but not overwhelming), frequent deploys (seeing my code in prod super fast!) and pair programming (I've learned so much)

Cons

At first I thought the unlimited PTO would be a con, but it was worked out so well. It has allowed me to enjoy my life, take the time I need, without having to check to see if I have enough time available. Some people might find our pace to be fast, but I find it energizing. I work a few late nights and every now and then I'll put in a few hours on the weekend, but it's mainly because I'm so focused on solving the problem I'm working on!

Not the type of startup you want to work for.

Pros

Cool business model. Lots of talented, nice people work there aside from upper management.

Cons

- Lack of expertise in leadership. - No meaningful upward movement. - No meaningful equity. - Huge disconnect between expectations (hours worked, revenue targets, etc..) and compensation. - Volatile hiring/layoff processes. - Overly complex internal bureaucracy keeping reps from performing. (A clear symptom of inexperienced management.) - Inappropriate language and emotional reactions from leadership, particularly from the CEO. - Very little diversity in talent that is seemingly intentional to keep subordinate employees around. - Rejection of opinions and recommendations from employees unless it comes from upper management.

Pros

You will work with some really nice people.

Cons

You are expected to work constantly, no one cares about your work life balance. 50-70 hour weeks are common and expected. PTO is unlimited and you are discouraged from taking time off. It's unlimited so you can't cash it out when you get laid off, and you will be laid off, because Liz doesn't know how to run a company properly. They are constantly hiring and firing people as they make dramatic pivit toward another new venture that isn't ready and doesn't work properly.
