The potential is endless at JobApp

Pros

After working 10+ years in the HRTech industry for both big and small companies, the change of pace at JobApp has been nice. The work is challenging yet rewarding, and I honestly believe that my opinion is valued. Though the term "work hard, play hard" is often over used, it is an accurate statement at JobApp. People who work hard get rewarded. It is exciting to see the company grow. The potential is truly endless for the employees and the company.

Cons

If you don't like growth and a fast paced environment then JobApp isn't for you.

Pros

I only liked the benefits offered by the company

Cons

Many of the employees reviews seem fake. The workplace had a high workload, and the employees were pushed beyond their limits. Only join if you can tolerate such a situation for long. Or look elsewhere

TalentReef does offer fantastic and comprehensive benefits for our team. We work in a fast-paced environment that allows us to be the market-leading provider and we recognize that not everyone thrives in that situation. Our employees are what make TalentReef great, and we take care of our team and offer career growth and development as well as tools for our people to succeed. Glassdoor does require users to certify their employee relationships to companies when posting any content. We regret you didn’t have a good experience. Wishing you all the best in your next endeavor.

Pros

The people at talentReef are second to none (with a few exceptions). Most care deeply about their work, and want to create better processes to help the technology department grow. Great atmosphere, and good camaraderie between coworkers. If you do well at your job, you are likely to get promoted in some way shape or form.

Cons

Because most of the employees at talentReef were promoted from within over the years, from the call center, people end up in positions that they do not have the experience for. This includes the middle management, which consists of people who have been with the owner since his last company (VP level folks in operations), as well as people who have drank a little too much of the kool-aid, and have attained positions that they do not deserve or perform at in any way shape or form. This ends up causing detrimental negative attitudes in the office, as many feel mis-managed at best, if not ignored and undertrained. What is more is that many of the departments managers thrive on gossip and popularity, so if you are doing well at your job, but are not bought into "work hard, play hard culture" (READ: overworked and underpaid), then you will not do well here. Furthermore, the technology road map is a disaster. talentReef has been driven by the sales team so hard that they are to the point of promising the moon to potential clients, then dropping the ball at the development level because of disorganization and MASSIVE amounts of technical debt and overall under-staffing. On top of this, no 401k match, poor benefits, and open layout in the office with second hand furniture are all just the proverbial cherry on top.

Thank you for this feedback. We agree that our people are the best and we are lucky to have so many dedicated people on the talentReef team! Despite all the good, we recognize there is room for improvement. In October, several managers attended training to gain skills and become leaders in their roles. It’s a fast-paced environment filled with smart, motivated employees, and we are offering opportunities for success, including implementing training and development for overall professional development within the company. We’re hiring from diverse and experienced backgrounds to make the company stronger, including recent outside hires for executives in Product and Engineering, as well as a new CEO with over 25 years of experience in the SaaS industry as well as several additions expanding our Technology and Product teams. The benefits package has been reviewed and is benchmarked above average. Employees have health and dental coverage the first day of the month after their date of hire. The 401K plan has been updated so employees can participate the first day of the month after their hire date. We appreciate your thoughts and hope you’ll stick with us as we continue to make positive and impactful improvements to our working environment.
