Pros

- Team is smart and motivated, with interesting problems to solve. You will learn! - Ability to work on a wide variety of projects, somewhat self directed with little micromanagement. - Work you do directly impacts the business. - Well-respected startup within the NY ecosystem. - Leadership is good at what they do, relatively transparent, and responsive. - Unlimited vacation.

Cons

- Few team bonding activities. Company doesn't do outings aside from a 1x year offsite (on the weekend) and a holiday party. - Pays less than market rate. Leadership recently asked team to work more but didn't offer incentive to do so. - Typical startup, longgg hours.

- Challenging work - Smart colleagues - You get to see your work changing the product every day - Non-hierarchical, you can approach upper management quite easily - Founders are amazing

Pros

x.ai is comprised of some of the most inspiring, passionate, and intelligent people in the industry. We all push each other on a daily basis because we care deeply about our work. The ambitious projects and initiatives I've been able to work on over the past ~2.5 years has made me realize that nothing is impossible.

Cons

Startup life is not for everyone given the high level uncertainty and change. However, if you are willing to work hard and tackle a problem that has not been solved before, this is the perfect place for you!
