Meet Wally, a Houston patient who has racked up some 26,600 miles of running over the past decade that includes 23 marathons and 50-mile training weeks. While his last race has been run as he faces a progressive neurological disorder, he is happy to recall fond marathon memories. He has run marathons coast-to-coast across the United States often donning running shorts that depict the Texas flag, and his favorite post-run snack is Mexican food and beer. Thanks for inspiring us all Wally!

Our #Miami team presented to a patient’s wife a legacy quilt that featured the patient’s artwork. The patient – a #Holocaust survivor - was inspired through the years to create beautiful pieces of artwork coming out of the ugliness of the Holocaust. Oh the heartfelt look in her eyes when she was presented the legacy quilt sewn by our Miami team. Yehi zichara baruch.

CBS DFW covers a very important topic with Dr. Anna Loengard, Chief Medical Officer, and Nancy Neaves, Director of Patient Care Services. Our leadership team continues to fight to secure vaccinations for staff and bring awareness to the needs of home health workers. “They’re there every day. They’re in these people’s homes and to think that they weren’t included in this group of people to receive the vaccine right off the bat, it’s just unacceptable,” - Nancy Neaves
