Last week the Menominee Indian Tribe planted 18 white pine trees on the Menominee Indian Reservation, with support from Alliant Energy’s Community Tree Program. This program is part of our One Million Trees initiative – a promise to plant one million trees in Iowa and Wisconsin by the end of 2030. As the trees grow, they will provide shade, reduce greenhouse gases and improve water quality for generations to come.
