Akilah is back with episode two of the Power Chronicles! As Akilah adjusts to a new school and new classmates, she has to choose a subject for a surprise science assignment. Over dinner, Akilah’s dad plants an idea when he mentions Alliant Energy’s One Million Trees project. When Akilah shares this with her lab partner Annalise, the idea grows roots. As the two young scientists get to work, Akilah’s old friend Dr. Nix returns to give them an up-close view of the ecosystem. Will the girls’ journey through the elements and our ecosystem inspire them to finish their project and improve the environment?
