May is Mental Health Awareness Month. We believe mental health is just as important as physical health. This month, we’re encouraging our community to check in—with yourself, with loved ones, and with the resources that support your well being. Small steps make a real difference: • Take a moment to breathe • Reach out when you need support • Prioritize rest and connection You’re not alone. Your health matters, and help is always within reach. Let’s normalize talking about mental health and show up for each other. Make space for wellness—today and every day. https://account.allinahealth.org/servicelines/826

Alina Health Minneapolis Heart Institute was the first in the Upper Midwest to successfully implant the OmniaSecure defibrillation lead at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. This newly FDA‑approved device is thinner and more flexible than older leads and is expected to improve outcomes for people living with implantable defibrillators by lowering the risk of vein blockage and tricuspid valve issues. This milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to advancing device therapy and was made possible through our work with Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation (MHIF). MHIF was the lead-enroller in the clinical trial that provided safety and efficacy data for FDA approval of the device and also among the first sites to enroll patients in the global trials.
