Did you know lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death? Our teams have been busy supporting community events, including partnering with other health systems, to raise awareness of this disease and the screening available to detect it early. The Native American Community Clinic Fall Harvest Health Fair, Buffalo Strong Street Party of Hope, and Minnesota State Fair are just a few of the events we’ve been proud to attend recently. If you’re between the ages of 50 and 80, are a current smoker or quite smoking in the last 15 years, talk to your primary care provider about whether lung cancer screening is right for you.
