Kids Ocean Day Cleanup | OC Coastkeeper hosted their annual Kids Ocean Day, where dozens of Behr colleagues joined 1000 students from 14 Orange County elementary schools to clean the shores of Huntington State Beach Park. Together, they removed 157 pounds of trash and created a giant aerial art message in the sand promoting this year’s theme, “Restore Power.” The goal of the event was to remind youth that even small steps, like picking up trash, can create real change, especially when they bring their community along.

Tens of thousands gathered in Dallas for the annual Carry the Load Memorial March, a nationwide campaign to honor fallen U.S. service members. As a philanthropy partner of Carry the Load, Behr was there to present a scholarship to a child who lost their parent in service to our country.

He offered practical advice and personal stories to help students plan their future career goals and feel motivated to reach their potential. Our Behr team in Allentown, PA had a fun experience volunteering at The Sanctuary at Haafsville, an animal rescue shelter dedicated to providing a loving and safe haven for animals in need. Our volunteers rolled up their sleeves for a fun landscaping and painting project, and afterwards enjoyed some quality time with the adorable dogs!
