This month, CCA Global Partners is excited to feature Membership Operations Specialist, Raye Lewis! Raye is celebrating her 19th year with CCA this November, and was introduced to our organization from a friend who loved the work environment & culture. Today, Raye agrees with her acquaintance, stating, "I work for a company that not only values their members, but truly appreciates and respects their employees." Raye echoes this idea & the CCA mission by acknowledging her favorite part about her role in operations; helping our members! On Sunday, CCA Global Partners' Senior Accountant, Jason Sievers, celebrated his ✨10th✨ work anniversary! As Senior Accountant for several of the CCA retail divisions, Jason's role is to prepare & distribute the monthly financial statements and reports, assist with the annual budget and mid-year forecasts, work with our external auditors during the year-end audit, and provide feedback & analysis to upper management as needed. As described by his colleague, Kim Diamond, "Everyone who knows Jason, knows that he is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and always has a smile to share." On behalf of all of us at CCA, congratulations on an exceptional 10 years!

This National Food Bank Day, the CCA Global Partners team in Manchester, NH worked together to collect a large supply of non-perishable food & other household necessities to be donated to the local New Hampshire Food Bank. Thanks to all who brought in items for the cause! 🍽️

CCA Global Partners is excited to be featuring another one of our great leaders this August, Vice President, Buying, Andrea Lauer Mummau! When Andrea started at CCA 24 years ago, she was drawn to its future possibilities, whatever they may be. Since then, she's spent six years with the ProSource division & the last eighteen years in Corporate Buying. Andrea agrees with many of her colleagues that CCA is "all about people," and enjoys seeing her team excel & move up in the company, while getting to know our members, their families, and their lives. Similarly, Andrea reflects on one of the most important things she's learned over the past five years, stating, "Nothing happens without people." Aside from her notable work with CCA's buying team, Andrea joined CCA's Office Emergency Response Team in St. Louis, MO, and felt compelled to take an additional EMT class at night, did work in hospitals, & completed ambulance ride alongs to pass the state and national tests. Andrea also loves to travel, paint, and restore furniture, sorting through thrift shops for that perfect piece! Through her passion for restoration, she has redesigned & remodeled several homes.

We're also sharing a handful of our 'Happiness Happens' tips & tricks to help release endorphins and boost your mood. ⤵️ Volunteer - When we spend time working to improve the lives of others, we help them & we feel good about ourselves, too. "You may land on an idea or concept that is a game-changer, or maybe it's not. You'll learn a lot either way while being supported to keep thinking of new ways to innovate," says Briana. Briana reveals that the support she receives from her team & supervisor to try new things is what makes work at CCA so enjoyable. "I have the autonomy to make decisions, and I know I have resources to work with & bounce ideas off when I need to. Plus, let's be honest - being able to bring my dog to work is pretty cool." She also shares her favorite quote from the one & only Dolly Parton, "Find out who you are, and do it on purpose." A fun fact about Briana? She loves to run with her dog & is currently training for the Berlin Marathon with his help.

In his role, Patrick and his team are often performing deployments, testing, & performance optimizations during our retail store downtimes, which is usually around 10 PM CST! In October, Patrick will be celebrating his 20th Anniversary with CCA Global Partners, which he lends in part to CCA's culture. "Every month you see anniversaries of 5 years, 10 years, 30 years, etc. That isn't common," says Patrick. He extends guidance to new employees, encouraging them that, "Your voice matters. The leadership group at CCA has fostered this notion my whole tenure at CCA. If you see an issue, or have an idea on how to do something, or how to do something better, bring it up. It might not always be something that's adopted, or adopted immediately, but it will most certainly not fall on deaf ears." Patrick recently retired from ice hockey and instead has developed a love for hiking & photography.

Frank has been associated with CCA Global Partners for 19 years and has taken on various roles within our cooperative. Along with acknowledging the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others, Frank shares his personal story and what initially drew him to join CCA, saying, "I have always been passionate about family businesses and have an entrepreneurial spirit. As a boy, my dad, who owned a watch, clock, and jewelry repair business, taught me the value of customer service, quality, and doing what you love. He also taught me the value of fighting for the underdog and rooting for locally-owned businesses. CCA Global Partners is a place where I feel right at home." Frank reflects on his past experiences and career while urging CCA new hires and young entrepreneurs to, "always look at things through the lens of developing creative solutions, bending the norm to create differentiation, and doing the right thing for the greater good. " Frank is also a devoted partner and the dad of twins, who enjoys spending time with his active family, dreaming up home improvement projects, attending concerts, and working on his classic car – a 1964 Pontiac GTO.

On Thursday, a group of colleagues from CCA Global Partners' Manchester, NH office volunteered at the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire, where they assisted the staff in cleaning & painting the bird room as well as partook in trail maintenance. 🌲 CCA is especially proud to have a staff who gives back to their community!
