Asset-based trucking services provided by CJ Logistics include local regional delivery (within 250 miles), over-the-road (over 250 miles), shuttle and loop for plants and warehouses, track-and-trace, frozen and refrigerated, yard spotting (dedicated options) and drayage.

THE CJ CUP in South Carolina will be played October 20-23 at Congaree Golf Club in Ridgeland, SC. Defending CJ CUP champion Rory McIlroy will lead the 78-player, no-cut field. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Hideki Matsuyama, Matt Fitzpatrick, Viktor Hovland, Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, Collin Morikawa, Jon Rahm, Max Homa, and sponsor exemptions Rickie Fowler and Jason Day have also committed to play THE CJ CUP in South Carolina. CJ Logistics America’s Senior Vice President of Transportation Operations Brad Nuffer will participate in a panel at the 3PL Value Creation North America Summit hosted by Armstrong & Associates, Inc., October 12-13 at the Embassy Suites Downtown Chicago Magnificent Mile. The panel at 12:30 pm on October 13, “What’s New in Domestic Transportation Management,” will review growth areas for success with domestic transportation management, freight brokerage and dedicated contract carriage. Panelists will discuss topics including cross selling VAWD and transportation management and asset vs. non-asset strategies, and address questions such as: Is spot still “hot” in the market today? How important are structural changes at the major players?
CJ Logistics America CFO Beth Wong has been selected as a Finalist for the 2022 Chicago CFO of the Year® Awards Program in the Large Private Company category. Wong will be joined by other CJ Logistics America leaders at the awards ceremony, November 1 at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile, where the award recipients in each category of public, private and not-for-profit companies will be announced. As Chief Financial Officer, Wong partners with the CJ Logistics America executive team to lead the strategic direction of the company and is responsible for the company’s financial health, with a team of approximately 50 people. She advises senior management on strategic investments and financial matters and partners with the sales organization, ensuring the company’s strategy meets customers’ needs. “I am honored to be selected as a finalist for this award,” Wong said. “And I’m proud to represent CJ Logistics America as we continue to evolve and grow our business.”
CJ Logistics America posts top marks to win Quest for Quality Award: CJ Logistics America is a 2022 recipient of Logistics Management’s Quest for Quality (Q4Q) Award in the Intermodal Marketing Companies category. “CJ Logistics America posted an impressive 63.12 overall weighted score, marking the highest overall weighted score of the entire 2022 survey,” Logistics Management said. “While tying [the second ranked company] with an On-time Performance score of 14.49, CJ Logistics America posted top marks across all the other attribute categories this year.” The other attribute categories are Value, Information Technology, Customer Service, and Equipment and Operations. The Q4Q awards are determined by the annual by-invitation-only survey of Logistics Management readers. Those qualified shippers vote in the type of services they use on a regular basis and rank those carriers and providers they work with every day. State and local officials in South Carolina are excited about hosting THE CJ CUP for the first time this year. THE CJ CUP in South Carolina will be held Oct. 17-23 at Congaree Golf Club, located north of Ridgeland near Gillisonville, about an hour northwest of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. According to blufftontoday.com, during a media day on Sept. 20, Congaree officials said they were excited to be hosting their second PGA TOUR event and announced that Rory McIlroy has committed to defend his CJ CUP title. John McNeely, executive director for the Congaree Foundation, said. “I think the field that will be in place for this one will be another step up for us and South Carolina.” The media day also covered golf’s economic impact on South Carolina and Congaree’s local area, blufftontoday.com reported. Duane Parrish, director of SC Parks, Recreation and Tourism, said that in 2021 golf had a $3.3 billion economic impact on the state’s tourism industry.
