Some of our patients need physical therapy to help them regain movement skills or prepare them to return home. Our physical therapists help make life better for children with various conditions by creating unique treatment plans that develop and improve motor skills.
Our patient Noah is giving us all motivation today! An energetic second-grader who loves to play baseball, Noah doesn't let his congenital heart defect define him. When Noah was four years old, he experienced a complication that led to excess fluid build-up around his lungs and made it hard for him to breathe. With the help and specialized treatment of our Fontan Program team, Noah shines bright on and off the baseball field.
What's better than one pet therapy dog? TWO! Rosie and Atticus are by our patient Audrey's side every step of her occupational therapy appointment at Our Children's House. Rosie and Atticus are just two of our special PetSmart Charities pet therapy dogs. What a fun and pawsome time!
