We pride ourselves on our next-level approach to development and design, and we’re thrilled to be recognized by Student Housing Business as being named the #1 Top Developer in student housing this year, and receiving two 2024 Innovator Awards! ⭐ Core ranked #1 Top Developer by bed count based on our planned pipeline of over 43,000 beds and ranked #3 Top Developer based on our 41 projects planned. ⭐ Hub Los Angeles Coliseum was awarded Best Interior Design (less than 400 beds) - this stunner pays homage to the dreamer city and was designed by our longstanding partners Studio K Creative in partnership with our in-house design team. ⭐ We also took home the award for Best Financing Solution for Hub Knoxville, for the whopping $233.3M construction loan we secured for our multi-tower, nearly 2,000-bed project currently under construction near the University of Tennessee, marking the largest student housing development in Knoxville’s history. Special thanks to our co-developer Schenk Realty Group and our equity partner Kayne Anderson. It’s an honor to be recognized by Student Housing Business and France Media Inc. alongside the best in the industry. No greater reminder of your organization's growing footprint than having several of your communities in the path totality. #solareclispe #eclipse #totaleclipse #totality
We’re honored to be named one of the Top Developers around the country by National Multifamily Housing Council. Sitting proudly at #8, we started 4,030 units across student housing and build-to-rent last year… and we’re not slowing down. Our team keeps growing, our pipeline keeps expanding, and our communities keep getting better. Thank you NMHC for this recognition, and shout out to our incredible team and partners who make these projects happen from start to finish. #NMHC50 #Top25Developers #Development #MultiFamily #RealEstate
Our team in Austin got out of the office for the afternoon and rolled up their sleeves to help our friends Central Texas Food Bank bundle fresh produce for the local community. We're endlessly inspired CTFB's impactful work and their mission of supporting healthy, happy people.
Housing fairs are a great way for our community managers to meet face to face with potential residents, and bring our brands to life outside of our communities. With the housing fair season in full swing, our teams have been hard at work connecting with students and building relationships with university representatives. Some highlights: ✔️Talked with thousands of students, discussing their housing needs and preferences. We take this feedback to heart and can inspire future innovations. ✔️Showcased our diverse portfolio of award-winning communities to students, highlighting our world-class amenities and modern designs. ✔️Created memorable experiences that left a mark. We didn’t HAVE to trailer an airstream over to USC, but we’re all about the details. We're incredibly proud of the impact we made at this year’s housing fairs and look forward to continuing to provide exceptional living experiences for students across the country. #CoreSpaces #StudentHousing
Today, we celebrate International Women's Day and honor the remarkable achievements of women around the world. As we commemorate this day of empowerment and equality, we're thrilled to spotlight the Women’s Innovation Network of Core (WINC), one of our Core Resource Groups, on a mission to create an inclusive space where women support each other in their journey toward personal and professional growth. Committed to inspiring, uplifting, and empowering women across Core, WINC is creating meaningful connections through mentorship programs, providing opportunities for skill development through programming and educational resources, and championing equity across all aspects of our business, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued. These initiatives play a vital role in fostering a culture of belonging and support for women here at Core. Together, we're building a future where gender equality is not only celebrated but fully realized. Happy International Women's Day!
No better way to celebrate Employee Appreciation Day than by reflecting on our annual Budget Workshop that took place this past week. We had the pleasure of hosting all of our incredible Community Managers under one roof in Phoenix. Aside from setting budgets for the upcoming year, this is an opportunity for our Mission Control and Community teams to connect and understand how Core can better support our most valuable asset, our people. There’s no better representation of our company’s growth than seeing just how many more chairs we need each year…and we’re as inspired as ever by the talented team that makes up Core. Happy #EmployeeAppreciationDay to our team members and THANK YOU for all that you do.
There’s a movement happening in the housing space right now, and we’ve been busy putting our own stamp on the build-to-rent sector with Oxenfree. We’re thrilled to share our continued growth with nearly 4,000 homes under development and in our pipeline – including our first two communities, Oxenfree at WeHo and Oxenfree at Princeton, set to deliver homes this spring. We’re introducing a new standard of living with our purpose-built communities. Oxenfree is designed around the aspirations of our residents, the unique landscapes of our locations, and a belief that vibrant communities are the best places to call home. With 1,500 homes currently under construction and more groundbreakings this spring…we’re just getting started! Our President, Dan Goldberg, believes “closer to campus” will outlast the other trends in student housing. We’ve always concentrated on our urban in-fill model, focused on developing at Main and Main locations and delivering the right user experience through intentional design and thoughtful amenities. Today, we remain laser focused on our approach and we’re going even bigger with multiple 2,000+ bed communities under development… a trend we expect to see more of as demand at top universities continues. Read more about it in The New York Times. P.s. our three founders met years ago at University of Illinois Urbana Champaign…awesome to see some love for our Hub on Campus Champaign community in The New York Times!
