Brittany Powell our Senior Project Controller, would like to recognize the incredible milestone of our fearless leader, Cindy Adams, who is approaching 27 years with Daifuku this January. Cindy’s journey began in the Chino Sales office in a part-time role supporting reception and accounts payable. Over the years, her role has evolved into a leadership position as Manager in the Project Management Office, where she continues to make a lasting impact. Throughout nearly three decades of growth—from regional sales operations to becoming part of the global, publicly traded Daifuku Group—Cindy has been a constant force for progress and collaboration. A recent highlight of her career has been her integral role in the transition to the new SAP accounting system, where she supported development, led user acceptance testing, and trained teams across the organization. Cindy’s leadership style reflects the best of Daifuku’s values—building strong interdepartmental partnerships, implementing new structures and tools, setting strategic goals, and creating a positive, productive workplace. His broad experience spans across Courier, Express, Postal, Airport Baggage Handling Systems, Retail Distribution, and Manufacturing. 🌞 Summer BBQ Celebration at Bolingbrook! 🌭🍰 On Thursday, July 10, our team gathered for a lunchtime Summer BBQ filled with great food and even better company. It was a special day of celebration, marking major milestones and warmly welcoming our newest team members. We were proud to honor Mike Madden for his incredible 25 years of service, and to bid a heartfelt farewell to Tom Rurik, who has officially retired. Congratulations to both on their remarkable journeys! A big thank you to John Speedwell, CPIM and Terry Elliott for manning the grill and serving up delicious hamburgers and hot dogs. With classic sides like coleslaw, pasta salad, potato salad, and chips, followed by cake and cookies for dessert, the afternoon was a true summer treat. Events like these remind us how strong our culture is when we come together to celebrate the people who make it all possible.
