🌟 Team Member Spotlight: Sayem S., Design Engineer at Daifuku Intralogistics America Sayem Shajahan, a proud first-generation American born and raised in New York City with roots in Bangladesh, has always been drawn to the world of technology. His early fascination with computers and how things work eventually led him to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Boston University, where he was introduced to the world of software testing. After starting his career in the QA industry, Sayem developed a strong foundation in problem-solving and precision. His journey with Daifuku began as a Field Test Engineer contractor, where he got his first hands-on experience in the material handling automation industry. A pivotal moment came when a senior design engineer recognized his potential and encouraged him to explore a design role. That opportunity turned into a lasting career, Sayem has now been a valued member of Daifuku’s Design Engineering team for over 3.5 years, contributing to innovative, high-impact solutions across intralogistics. When he's not engineering smarter systems, Sayem enjoys working out, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends. We’re proud to have Sayem as part of the hashtag#DaifukuTeam!
