🌟 From Intern to Full-Time Success 🌟 Jonathan ONeil began his internship in October 2023, after a couple of years studying software engineering. With a clear goal of gaining experience in the field, Jonathan joined as an IT support intern. His daily tasks included project work and assisting with rebranding operations, such as domain changes for emails and computers. Through these projects, Jonathan gained proficiency in various Microsoft products like Excel, SharePoint, and the Power Platform. He particularly enjoyed working with Power Automate, setting up processes that automated numerous tasks—truly "Automation that Inspires." Jonathan's domain-migration work involved support calls, communicating with many team members, and assisting them with setting up their new email accounts and computers. Upon completing his Associate of Software Engineering, Jonathan received an offer for full-time employment, which he eagerly accepted. Today, he is a Jr Application Systems Analyst at Daifuku Intralogistics America. "Overall, my internship was an incredible experience. It provided an opportunity to grow and learn in a team environment, complete large-scale projects, and contribute meaningfully." He said. Jonathan is excited about the fulfilling work ahead and the many opportunities that lie in store.

Daifuku Intralogistics America has a longstanding tradition of supporting charitable causes, especially during the holiday season. One of our key initiatives is the annual Toys for Tots collection in Bolingbrook, Illinois, which aims to bring joy to children in need during Christmas. Our philanthropic efforts extend beyond this single initiative. Donations to food banks are dispersed to organizations near our major office sites, ensuring they benefit the communities where our employees live and work. Each year, if the company has performed well, our executives offer employees the choice of receiving a $50 Amazon gift card, opting for a $25 Amazon gift card while donating $25, or donating the entire $50. Last year, we also considered the Red Cross as a recipient. In 2023, on behalf of Daifuku Intralogistics America and its employees, we donated over $23,000 to local food banks and the American Red Cross. Some of these contributions were doubled thanks to matching gifts from our generous sponsors on Giving Tuesday. We are proud of our team's commitment to giving back and making a positive impact in our communities.
