In October 2023, Mohamed Elarbi began his journey as an IT Intern at Daifuku Intralogistics America. During this incredible experience, he worked with an amazing team to deliver top-notch solutions to stakeholders and IT management. From gathering business requirements and designing technical solutions to automating processes, testing software, and migrating solutions across different environments, Mohamed always aimed to exceed expectations. Not only did he enhance his technical skills, but he also embraced Daifuku's fantastic company culture and built a strong network with his team members. As college graduation approached, Mohamed set his sights on a full-time role at Daifuku. By leveraging his resources and actively networking with hiring managers and HR, he made his long-term goals clear. 🎓 After graduation, Mohamed was thrilled to accept a full-time position as a Junior Application System Analyst in the IT department. This role perfectly aligns with his career aspirations, and since then, he has taken on more challenging projects, further developing his skills and contributing to the team's success. Meet our new summer intern, Adam Garza! We are thrilled to welcome Adam to the Manufacturing Engineering Team at Daifuku Intralogistics America in Hobart, Indiana. Adam's journey with us began when he expressed interest in an innovative software development project aimed at enhancing our internal material tracking process from Inventory to Assembly to Shipping. With over 6 years of experience leading diverse software teams, Adam's expertise and passion were quickly recognized by Gelareh Karbaschi and Trevor Funston, leading to his internship offer.

🌟 Celebrating Two Decades in Safety 🌟 Reflecting on Tom OBrien's 20-year journey in the safety field. Thomas worked across diverse industries—oil and gas, steel production, aviation, construction, automotive, and manufacturing. Each sector has its unique challenges and rewards, but manufacturing has always held a special place in his heart. For almost 5 years now, Thomas has been proud to be a part of Daifuku Intralogistics America. Starting out, he was responsible for safety and environmental oversight at the Hobart, Indiana facility. Fast forward to May 2022, Thomas embraced a new role as Sr. EHS Manager, leading the entire EHS department. What fuels his passion daily is the opportunity to support various teams, ensuring every team member returns home safely to their families. "Together, through dedication and collaboration from all levels of leadership, we have significantly reduced workplace injuries"—a milestone Thomas considers his greatest achievement at Daifuku Intralogistics America.
