Andrew Sawyer’s career journey at Daifuku is a true example of the impressive growth opportunities within our company. He began more than 10 years ago as a Project Engineer I, fresh out of college, and has since progressed through roles including Principal Engineer and Engineering Manager now serving as our Vice President of Project Engineering. Meet Venkata Achanta, Sr. Software Engineer, who has fostered nearly 70 dogs so far. 🐾 Fostering is one of the most rewarding parts of his life. Each dog arrives with its own story, personality, and challenges from the bold “I ate your shoe and feel no remorse” type to the timid “I’m afraid of my own shadow” pup who just needs reassurance. Watching them grow, build confidence, and transform is the most meaningful part. Every foster teaches patience, resilience, and unconditional love. And while saying goodbye is never easy, it means one more dog has found the loving forever home they were meant for and that there’s room to welcome the next furry whirlwind.
