During Global Volunteer Month, we paused to recognize something we value year-round: the importance of volunteerism. We’ve set a goal of 30,000 volunteer hours in 2026 and here are some of the ways our employees are currently making impact in their community.
Innovation isn’t just a goal—it’s an investment in the future of animal health. We are excited to announce plans to establish Elanco Ventures, a dedicated corporate venture capital platform to be backed by a $25 million multi-year commitment to accelerate innovation in animal health. Elanco Ventures will gain early visibility into emerging technologies that address the world’s most pressing challenges—from the evolving expectations of pet owners to the rising global demand for sustainable protein. Initially focusing on early-stage therapeutics, we are also looking toward the broader One Health landscape. Anchored by our partnership in the One Health Innovation District in Indianapolis, we are bridging the gap between bold ideas and global impact. This theme was clear at IPPE in Atlanta, where we connected with poultry professionals and heard firsthand what’s top of mind across the industry, from flock health and operational efficiency to evolving production challenges and long-term performance goals. Our Poultry team appreciated the opportunity to discuss how our products continue to deliver trusted performance and to learn from the perspectives shared by producers and partners throughout the show. We’re excited to keep the conversations going through the new year and beyond.
Elanco marketing campaigns were recognized at VMX with top Vetty Awards: Galliprant "Playing with Fire" won Best in Show. This campaign showed that managing canine OA pain shouldn't mean playing with fire and ignited smarter vet conversations around pain relief for dogs Credelio Quattro won Gold, Silver and Bronze across Campaigns, Direct Mail, B2B/Trade, and Television Commercial Categories These awards recognize more than great creative. They celebrate the strategy, collaboration and hard work of Elanco team members who are raising awareness of our innovative pet health products with pet owners and veterinarians.

In 2025, our teams around the world showed what it means to Go Beyond. From supporting local animal shelters to distributing meals, Elanco team members gave their time and energy to their communities. Together, we contributed over 28,000 volunteer hours last year, advancing our purpose to make life better for animals, customers, society, and each other. Here’s to continuing the progress in 2026.
This holiday season, we're extending our table to the community. In support of our Nutrition Secure Indy initiative and in partnership with HATCH, Elanco volunteers distributed 600 turkeys and 600 accompanying food boxes to families in need. That’s 16,800 pounds of food for our community to gather around. Grateful to HATCH for the turkeys, Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana for the food boxes, and Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center and the Edison School for opening their doors for the community every day.
At Elanco, philanthropy isn’t a one-day event. It’s part of who we are. This National Philanthropy Day, we’re celebrating the commitment and purpose our global teams bring to their communities. From routinely volunteering at animal shelters and food banks to donating to various charitable causes throughout the year, our employees’ unwavering commitment to philanthropy strengthens our mission to make life better for animals, customers, society and each other. Together, we’ve already globally contributed 22,502 volunteer hours toward our 2025 goal of 25,000 hours.
