A Hawk with a Home at EquipmentShare In Portland, Oregon, a hawk wandered into the yard and caught the attention of one of our yard techs. The team safely secured the bird and reached out to the Bird Alliance of Oregon. After an exam, it was discovered the hawk had a hairline fracture in its wing. It is now recovering with wildlife experts and is expected to return soon. Just another day of stepping up, even for unexpected guests. A Home Makeover with Habitat Team members from our Salem and Canby, Oregon, branches joined forces with Habitat for Humanity to restore a local home. For the Salem general manager, it was a continuation of years spent volunteering on home builds around the world. This time, the impact was felt right in our own backyard. Pie-Faced for a Purpose In Bakersfield, California, a region-wide challenge brought out the giving spirit in full force. One of the Parts Managers and her team pledged $645 in recurring monthly donations to the EquipmentShare Foundation, which supports employees facing hardship. Their win earned them lunch and the chance to throw pies at their managers. “It was great laughs for a great cause,” they said. We couldn’t agree more.

As part of our grand opening celebration, we kickstarted our relationship with the Grain Valley community by presenting a $2,500 gift to Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity. The donation supports their mission to provide safe, affordable housing for families in Eastern Jackson County. From purpose-built service bays and a dedicated training center to secure “hard down” zones for large equipment, this facility was designed with contractors in mind. It also serves as a regional distribution center for Core Solutions branches and emergency response support across the Midwest.
