The momentum of the 2024 National Symposium for Classical Education continued to build throughout the main ballroom and breakout workshop rooms on day two at the Phoenix Convention Center. The day was filled with meaningful conversations about classical education, through keynote addresses, interactive workshops, and through discussions around the coffee carafes or in the lunch line.

Over 700 attendees ascended upon the Phoenix Convention Center for the opening night of the 2024 National Symposium for Classical Education, hosted by the Great Hearts Institute under the leadership of the Institute’s director, Carol McNamara. The symposiasts enjoyed an opening reception as they explored the booths from some of the event’s sponsors. The room was filled with anticipation for the next three days with over 60 talks, workshops, and panels from more than 75 speakers, each an expert in their respective fields.

The last day included a tour of George Washington's Mount Vernon before heading to the airport for the return trip home.

Veritas Prep is home to a barber shop quartet – but they are a quartet with a little extra harmony, boasting five members instead of four. The musical group was born of performers who were not ready to hang up their straw hats and striped vests after their debuts in the 2023 school musical.
