On January 31st, HCA Cookeville office hosted the first Mental Movement Fest - a free community concert & silent auction! This event was the brainchild of Amanda (IOP Facilitator/Therapist). Amanda wanted to take her two loves - music & mental health - and create a time for the community to engage in conversation and fellowship around Mental Health & Wellness. We had 4 local bands/musicians volunteer their time and talents & a host of community partners who provided food, items for the silent auction, activities for our kids, and information about local resources. All proceeds from the donations & silent auction benefitted a local nonprofit - Harrington for Hope. This organization's mission is to serve burn survivors - primarily children - and help them to find a way to move "beyond the burn." We are so thankful to everyone who took part in this event and helped to make it a success - especially Amanda! We can't wait for next year!

Bringing Joy to Foster Youth Through Our Annual Angel Tree Program 🎄💙 Each year, our Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) Program hosts its annual Angel Tree, inviting community members to sponsor a child in foster care and help make their holiday season a little brighter. This tradition has become a meaningful way for our teams and communities to come together in support of the youth we serve. Through generous donations, each child receives personalized gifts that remind them they are seen, valued, and cared for—especially during a season that can be difficult for many in foster care. These small acts of kindness create moments of joy and hope that leave a lasting impact. HCA Stands Together for Suicide Prevention 💛 In September, Health Connect America came together for Suicide Prevention Month through our ongoing #NotOneMore campaign, putting awareness into action with a focus on wellness and support. Throughout the month, we: 💚 Reminded staff about supportive resources available for themselves and their families. 💚 Shared tips on how to navigate difficult but important conversations with loved ones and clients. 💚 Encouraged open dialogue to break the stigma around suicide and mental health. On World Suicide Prevention Day (September 10th), our employees stood in solidarity by wearing yellow and sharing words and stories of encouragement for our Wall of Hope—a powerful reminder that no one is alone, and together we can make a difference.
