After an application and interview process, the participants completed a Professional Development series where they met with company leaders on topics related to in-home services. The final session is always with our CEO, Kristi Shain, who holds a roundtable discussion regarding goals, plans, career paths, and all things HCA. Congratulations to each of the graduates! Nicole has been with HCA for over a year as the IOP Adult Facilitator, and she is also an Outpatient Therapist. She was led to this role due to the simple fact that individuals with MH or Substance Abuse issues tend to get their needs overlooked and she believed she could be the change to end them being overlooked. She believes those individuals should be treated with dignity and worth just like individuals that do not suffer from MH or substance abuse issues. She mainly enjoys being able to see the progress her clients have made from the time that they started services to the time that their services end. Nicole loves how family orientated her team is. She feels they are very open and transparent with each other, and feel comfortable enough to reach out to each other any time of the day or night if someone needs assistance, just wanting to debrief cases and to just to tell each other "Good job". "I feel connected at HCA because HCA carries similar values and morals that I live by on an everyday basis"
At HCA, we are always looking for opportunities to meet the everchanging needs of the community. Since 2006, our Chattanooga office has been serving Hamilton and surrounding counties with a wide range of programs meant to help adults, children, adolescents, and families find hope and healing from traumatic events. These programs are designed to address issues like grief, anger management, family issues, and substance use. We are pleased to announce that we are expanding our service line to include parenting classes, anger management classes, and therapeutic level foster care services. HCA’s projected growth not only benefits the community by serving more individuals and families, but also creates more jobs in the area. We are looking to hire 15 Therapists to provide master's level therapeutic services in forms of Outpatient, Adolescent and Adult Intensive Outpatient, along with an additional 10-20 supporting positions.
