One patient’s daughter recently acknowledged the compassionate care provided to her mother during a lengthy stay in CCU. “Kyle went above and beyond to make my mom comfortable, caring not only for her but for our entire family,” the daughter wrote. “He provided tissues when needed and stayed after his shift was over until she finally took her last breath. Thank you, Kyle, for providing that first class patient care.” Hendrick thanks Kyle for going above and beyond to care for this patient and her family. #ThisIsHendrick
A visitor at our facility recently mistook a gas pedal for the brake pedal, hitting a bike that was secured to a pole. The visitor had no injuries, but the bike that belonged to Sharlane, a phlebotomist in our Regional Lab, was completely totaled. The bike was her main mode of transportation to and from work. Sharlane was distraught, not knowing how she would be able to commute to work, but her fellow employees took it upon themselves to gather donations. With donations from Couriers, Data Entry and Client Services, her fellow employees were able to purchase Sharlane a new bike. Thank you to all employees who went Above and Beyond to help Sharlane! #ThisIsHendrick
