The building will create 546 new homes for residents, providing expansive open green spaces that seamlessly blend indoor-outdoor living areas and 30,000 sqft. of retail space. In honor of Women's Equality Day, Kimberly Pool, Director of Culture & People, and a member of HHC’s DEI Council spoke with Dr. Melissa Gonzalez, President of @LSC-Kingwood, to learn about her career journey and her advice to women pursuing their goals. "Let them see who you really are. There will be barriers…just keep your eye on the prize." Melissa advises." She also shared how LSC implements inclusivity on each campus, “Each LSC Campus has a diversity manager and DEI coordinator to promote open conversation and ensure there is inclusivity for everyone." Melissa shares. Elevating diverse voices is one role HHC’s DEI Council plays within the company. The DEI Council is comprised of employees volunteering their time and expertise outside of their daily roles to drive meaningful change related to diversity, equity, and inclusion at HHC and within the communities we serve.
