Congratulations to Brian, who celebrates 20 years with us today! Brian started with us as a 3rd Shift Lab Technician and quickly grew into other positions within the lab, with a stop as 3rd Shift Production Supervisor. In 2011, Brian became the Oshkosh Lab Manager, and as changes continued he stepped up to the Production Manager in 2017. We are pleased to celebrate Brian’s anniversary today, as he has become an important part in the success of the Oshkosh Facility.

Cottage Grove has been cleaning up local highways this year as part of their Hydrite Helps campaign. Last week a group retrieved 5 bags of garbage to conclude their clean ups for 2019. They'll be back at it when the snow melts in 2020. Nice work!

The National Private Truck Council (NPTC) has presented its National Driver All-Star Award to one of our very own drivers, Charlie Schmidt. Charlie has been with Hydrite for over 22 years and "Is the epitome of a professional driver. Whether he’s at the plant, customer facility, or vendor location, Charlie follows the rules and regulations to the letter," Steve Olson, Regional Transportation Manager, shared. Our Bradley Road Hydrite Helps Committee sponsored a Stockbox Building Event at the Hunger Task Force last Saturday. Their group built 18 pallets of Stockboxes. Each pallet contained 40 boxes weighing approximately 30lbs each, which amounted to over 21,600lbs of food. A handful of the guests have already signed up for another event in October. Volunteering is contagious!
