We had the honor of recognizing 130 of our employees who celebrated milestone anniversaries at INTRUST Bank in 2022. Congratulations! We value the faithfulness, positivity, and fresh thinking you bring to the team!
29 women from INTRUST participated in the Kansas Bankers Association's Women in Banking Conference. Over the course of three days, participants learned skills to maximize their careers in banking, network with others in the industry, and hear from dynamic speakers. Dakota Hughes, banker, loved seeing so many INTRUST employees expand their growth and development. "There was so much knowledge to bring back for implementation within my own team." Stephanie Vanatta, customer service supervisor, overcame fear and was encouraged by other conference attendees. "I will remember their stories, tips, and not only apply them to my own life, but try to teach my team." Stephanie also left the conference inspired by other women in banking. She shares, "I will be confident, I will keep trying, and I will shine!"
During Jump On Board Day last week, new employees gathered together to hear from different department leaders and what it takes to flourish here. When asked on how to grow as an employee at INTRUST, Sam Chandler, Executive Director – Wichita Commercial Loans, encouraged new employees to, “Always be curious, because it might give you insight into where you want to go next within the bank. Empower others and lift each other up.” Alan Mah, Managing Director, Enterprise Strategic Risk, also encouraged employees to never stop growing. “If you’re going to be in banking, having great community is important. At INTRUST, we help others expand and we care about our community.” To all newly hired employees, welcome to the INTRUST team!

Congratulations to Paige Williams, INTRUST’s social media strategist, on her inclusion in Wichita Urban Professionals' The Fast Track: A Black Professional Leadership Program. Paige shared insight into her experience so far: “It is empowering to be in a room with Black professionals who are willing to invest in themselves. All of my classmates bring something so special to not only our class but to the city of Wichita. We have only had one session so far, but in that one session, I was able to learn so many valuable things and share what I have learned with my team here at INTRUST.” We wish all participants the best of luck in the program!

Take me out to the ball game! INTRUST summer interns, mentors and supervisors had the opportunity to enjoy some time together away from office at a Wichita Wind Surge baseball game at Riverfront Stadium.
One of our favorite traditions is Jump On Board Day, a quarterly event where we welcome new employees by sharing some of the history of INTRUST, providing them with the opportunity to network with leadership from across the bank, and of course, lunch!
