Hats off to all of the INTRUST employees who rolled up their sleeves and donated blood during our Red Cross blood drive last week. You make a difference!
If you ask our customers and community partners why they choose to work with us, they’ll often say, “The people.” People like Joyce Dixson. As community reinvestment coordinator, Joyce identifies opportunities for INTRUST to partner with local organizations. And it’s not just what she does — it’s who she is: Outside of work, Joyce regularly devotes time to community support. Over her 31-year career with INTRUST, Joyce has worked with the National Association of Neighborhoods, the City of Wichita’s Community Housing programs, and dozens of other non-profits, many of which help raise members of our community out of poverty. Her personal and professional volunteer connections include Habitat for Humanity; The Wichita Branch NAACP; Advance KS, YMCA – Community Development and Job Prep; Junior Achievement of Kansas; United Way of the Plains; The Pando Initiative; Community Veterans Engagement Board; Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Planning Committee; and Urban League of Kansas. Respect, compassion, faithfulness, initiative. These fundamental values are more relevant than ever.
Networking Up is an ongoing series at INTRUST where employees from throughout the bank get to know members of our leadership team over lunch. Last week our interns had the opportunity to participate. Our seasoned leadership team was able to share guidance and real-world insights to assist with their future careers, but also hear fresh perspectives from new employees.
Congratulations to Kendra Headrick, marketing research analyst, for her recognition as an up-and-coming young professional in marketing by the Wichita Business Journal. We are very fortunate to have Kendra as part of the team at INTRUST.
Recently we celebrated 180+ employees who reached milestone years in their careers at INTRUST at our Service Awards Breakfast. We wouldn't be who we are today without this fantastic group of people. A special shoutout to Charlie Chandler, chairman and CEO, and Kathy Janzing, accounting supervisor, who each reached 45 years of service.

Welcome, 2022 summer interns! Each intern will participate in on-the-job training, personal development sessions, and opportunities to network with interns at other Wichita-area companies. They will spend their time learning from managers and other mentors in their individual area of interest, including technology, marketing, data analytics, wealth management, and risk management.
