Employees lead busy lives. To help manage personal needs, our HR team hosted a Benefits Fair, with representatives on-site to assist with a variety of "life's essentials," like banking, insurance, wellness, and legal advice.
Our employees had a fantastic time at our annual picnic, which we hosted at Great Country Farms this year. So many fun activities for the kids (including the "big" kids!). Check out the pics.
Time to recognize outstanding crew members again! Congrats to JK Maryland staffers on their accolades: September's Helper of the Month, Anthony Rivas (pictured here with the GM of JKMD, Tom Grass) and Driver of the Month, James Braxton.
Although it's becoming more common for companies to halt certain employee benefits, JK continues to grow and support its employees with 401(k) safe harbor contributions, a profit-sharing plan, on-site wellness clinics, and more. Click the link to learn more.
To boost employee communication, JK Moving Services hosts Town Hall meetings 2-3 times a year. We cover topics like strategic plans, how the company is progressing and growing, and employee benefits. Last week, we held our fall meeting with GREAT turnout (including our offsite employees via dial-in). Check out the pics!
Each month we recognize outstanding members of our crew. Congrats on our Maryland team to Terence F., Driver of the Month and Geibi P., Helper of the Month (pictured). Thank you, gentlemen!
Our on-site farmer's market returned today, which is always a fun (and healthy!) treat for our employees. Check out some pictures from the event:
Each year, employees from JK Moving Services and our sister company, CapRelo, donate school supplies to local kids who might otherwise go without. We always look forward to this opportunity to give back to the community.
What's the best day of the summer at JK Moving Services? Ice Cream Day, of course!
Safety in the workplace is a priority at JK Moving Services, so whenever we reach a 90-day, injury-free milestone, we host a dinner to celebrate. Last night, about 100 employees and their families from our Maryland location celebrated that achievement with a dinner at Smokey Glen Farm in Gaithersburg.
