Our Mind Body Soul volunteer team of 22 employees hosts wellness programming for our corporate and field teams throughout the year. Their goal? To raise awareness about wellness, create a community of support, and share available resources to each Kate Spade employee. Since last year, the team has brought to life initiatives such as mental health first aid training, a wellness speaker series and quarterly newsletter, a meditation room at the office, as well as bimonthly meditation sessions for the office and field. The team also incorporated yoga and meditation at our annual Store Leaders Conference in Florida. A special thank you to all the volunteers and our employees for continuing the conversation on mental wellbeing and supporting one another along the way. #loveinspades

In 2012, we launched #onpurpose, our social enterprise initiative that empowers women, girls and their community through our supply chain. Since then, we have witnessed the transformation of Masoro, Rwanda, the community where our #onpurpose supplier is based, due to the collective generosity and commitment of our company, its employees, and other organizations. The North America team hosted its 7th annual #onpurpose fundraiser where all donations raised will support nonprofits providing sports and dance based activities, leadership courses, and entrepreneurship education programs in the Masoro community. Earlier this month, our Creative Director Nicola Glass and Leandra Medine, Founder of Man Repeller, cohosted a “No-Agenda Summer Celebration” inspired by our Summer 2019 collection. The rooftop of the William Vale Hotel in Brooklyn served as the backdrop for the intimate dinner, which mirrored Nicola’s seasonal inspiration of ‘Summer in the City’ and finding ways to bring the beach to you – rooftop sunbathing, picnics in the park, impromptu fire escape cocktails – even when it’s not possible to escape the city.
