Our customers are our highest priority. Our new technician Customer Service training is designed to create memorable moments for our clients throughout their contract journey. Our field technicians are our first responders, and the goal of our new program is to ensure that every interaction results in the best customer experience. Special thanks to our Mid-Atlantic technicians for being the first team to participate in the new training, and we are looking forward to the continued input from our customers!

Last week our LEAD 2 participants came together for their 2.5-day, in-person residency in Philadelphia, where they met with SMEs from across the organization, focusing specifically on negotiation, influence, and decision-making skills. While we invest in our leaders professionally, we also know the importance of building relationships and providing opportunities to get out of the office/classroom and participate in good old-fashioned team building!
The Limbach Team recently replaced an existing BAC closed circuit cooler at Pennsylvania Hospital, Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System. The hospital requested a 20% increase in capacity for the future expansion of their heat pump loop. With guidance from our in-house engineer, the team was able to confirm the capacity increase was possible and select new condenser water pumps that could handle the increased pressure and load. Due to the age of the existing equipment and supports, the project also included the complete replacement of the dunnage steel support structure. Along with trusted partners, Fortress Steel Service Inc, and Shelley Electric, the entire project was completed over one weekend to ensure that the customer had a fully operational building on Monday morning! Pennsylvania Hospital, the nation's first hospital, was founded in 1751 by Benjamin Franklin and Dr. Thomas Bond. For more than 270 years, it has been at the forefront of innovative, high-quality patient care and continues to build on its many centers of excellence.
A beautiful day for a site safety walk with our Michigan-based ACE summer interns. Understanding the importance of safety and our Hearts & Minds culture is a key component of our internship program. Shoutout to Site Safety Leader, Hailey Fulton for leading the tour and setting a great example of how to keep your heart & mind dedicated to safety.
Our Mid-Atlantic team is moving right along with our local University Student Housing Renovation Project. Our team is responsible for renovating the HVAC system that keeps the students cool, and pictured here is the crane pick of the new chiller that will serve the building!
Limbach is a proud supporter of #womeninthetrades. This past month, Limbach Ohio's very own local 189 Pipefitter Apprentice, Stacie DiNovo, and the Central Ohio Women in the Trade organization hosted their Build Up! Tradeswomen Conference, where they brought together 30 tradeswomen and allies to discuss the common issues women in the industry face, plan skilled trade workshops, and develop an outreach plan for how we can proactively recruit more women to join our industry. If you are interested in learning more about career opportunities with the trades, chat with us at www.limbachinc.com or if you are local to Ohio, check out https://lnkd.in/ep-Jg2Z8 or https://lnkd.in/eJT-F7wu
Happy National Intern Day to our interns!⭐️ Hands on learning is a key part of our intern program, including seeing projects designed by our engineers come to reality out on the jobsite!
Check out our Mid-Atlantic team, who recently completed our 2-day Hearts & Minds course! This training class is designed to develop supervisors as key leaders to influence change related to fostering a safe and productive workplace. This course explores current safety attitudes, actions, cultures, and processes and develops skills to improve safe production via a team approach.
Last week, we kicked off our Florida branch visits, starting with a visit to our Tampa Team! While there, we got to tour the new AdventHealth Tampa Taneja Center for Surgery, where we joined the team as design assist partners and completed the installation of the mechanical and plumbing systems. We are grateful to be able to service a facility that has such an impact on our community!
