Limbach is a proud supporter of the ACE Mentor Program. Last night the ACE Mentor Program of Baltimore had their end-of-year celebration, where the students had the opportunity to present their design for a theoretical, high-profile project in Baltimore to a team of jurors. Our Mid-Atlantic team mentor, Chad Harry, had the pleasure of getting to know and working with The Green Street Academy on their design, winning the Best in Sustainability award! Congrats to all of the students on their hard work and dedication!
Ohio Project Update: We're off and running in the Level 7 mechanical equipment room! The first sections of custom air handlers have arrived and are making their way into their final resting place. There are fourteen total air handlers that will sit on this level. Each of the double and triple-stacked factory built-up units consists of two supply tunnels and 12-14 total sections weighing anywhere from 8,000 lbs up to 25,000 lbs per section and delivering a combined total of 920,000 cfm to the building! To set these units, we stack the sections on a landing zone on the roof and use air skates to push and maneuver them across a sheet metal runway into place. With all the other activity around us, the effort takes immense coordination from Limbach's expert team of tradesmen, with safety at the forefront.
Day 4 of Construction Safety Week was a busy one for Limbach Company New England. We were able to visit one of our Life Science Fit Outs at Cambridge Crossing (CX).

Today's Construction Safety Week Safety Week focus is on continuous learning, which is a key component of our Hearts & Minds Safety Culture and our Company culture. An example of our continuous learning can be seen through our "Stuff the Kills You" Safety training conducted at all of our branch locations this week. This training focuses on recognizing hazards, determining the energy sources, and putting controls in place.
With Mother's Day right around the corner, we wanted to shine a light on our hardworking employees who are not only full-time Limbach leaders but also full-time moms. Meet Erika Carl. Erika works out of our Eastern PA branch as a Service Sales Representative and is a proud mom of 2!
As we continue with our #mothersday spotlight, meet Veronica Griffith. Veronica is our Senior Executive Team Administrator and has been with the Limbach Company for over ten years. In addition to supporting the Limbach team full-time, she has also raised two amazing daughters!
