It’s officially Construction Safety Week! Did you know that Limbach was one of the founding members of Safety Week? The idea originated back in 2013, and now there are over a hundred companies that celebrate and are changing the way the industry thinks about safety. Follow along this week as we share a first look at how Safety Week is celebrated at our Company through new safety-focused training, employee spotlights, and jobsite & branch events! https://lnkd.in/eZ3b5Xsi
As we kick off the second day of Construction Safety Week, today we are focusing on the importance of supporting one another and our crews to help keep us safe and informed. Supporting each other can be as simple as checking in if you notice someone is having an off day, speaking up if you see an unsafe act, or recognizing a team member who is going above and beyond. As you continue throughout your day today, how can you show support to your team members? https://lnkd.in/eZ3b5Xsi

Bring Your Child to Work Day was quite a success! From shop tours and welding demonstrations to fun industry-based activities, it was a great day of introducing these kiddos to Limbach and shining a light on a day in the life of their hardworking parents. Thank you to all those who participated and our EPA & NJ employees for sharing their career path stories and inspiring the next generation of Limbach leaders. Special kudos to Jennifer Stearn for organizing such a special and memorable day, Annie McDermott for creating our "too cool for school" t-shirt design, Nick Quartapella for leading our scanning demonstration, and our Local Union 420 Journeyman Shaun Conallen for safely leading the welding demonstration!
We are excited to announce the acquisition of Jake Marshall, LLC, a Chattanooga, TN-based specialty mechanical contractor. Welcome to the team, Jake Marshall! Click here to read the full press release:
Safety is integral to our unique company culture and core values: We care about our people and their families, and we hold each other accountable for working safely. And that is why we have reinforced our Stop the Work Policy, where everyone at our Company has the authority and empowerment to Stop the Work if they see an unsafe condition. Pictured here are our Mid-Atlantic leaders visiting their teams to have an open and honest discussion about how they can continue to empower one another to stop any unsafe acts and make sure everyone gets home safely.
