Celebrating a birthday on "opening day" of our new office in Stamford, CT.
Mars & Co recently relocated its NY area main office from Greenwich CT to Stamford CT. We moved into a beautifully renovated space one of Stamford's iconic buildings - 1 Stamford Forum. Here is a pic of some of the team who were there on "opening day".

This is the day when we traditionally have the end of summer new consultants come to the Greenwich office for orientation and to meet their future teammates and the NY area support staff. This week we are delighted to welcome 4 new members to the consulting team at Mars & Co’s NY area office. They all recently completed their studies and have terrific educational backgrounds and experiences that position them very well for success as strategy consultants working with Mars & Co’s global clients. They are: Robert “Bobby” Anthony, a 2024 MBA graduate from University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business who earned his undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State. Prior to attending Booth, Bobby worked in the autonomous driving vehicle and defense industries. Last summer he was an intern with Mars & Co. Andrea Lau, a 2024 MBA graduate from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth who earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University. Andrea has previous work experience in the insurance industry and interned at Amazon last summer. Andrew McBurney, a recent graduate of Dartmouth College where he earned a bachelor’s degree in quantitative social science. During college he worked in the sports business and was also President and Captain of Dartmouth Club Hockey. Last summer Andrew was an intern at Mars & Co. Selina Sun is a 2024 MBA graduate from Columbia Business School who earned her undergraduate degree in Economics and Marketing from Drexel University. She worked as a Marketing Manager at American Express immediately prior to enrolling at CBS and was an intern with Mars & Co last summer.
We are delighted to welcome six summer 2024 interns to Mars & Co.’s New York area office. They all have interesting backgrounds and educations that position them well for success as strategy consultants working with Mars & Co’s global clients. They are: Patrick Rice is an MBA candidate at the Tuck School of Business who earned his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from UVA. Prior to business school Patrick worked in the IT industry. He also was a successful contestant on Jeopardy! Madeleine Lawler is enrolled in the World Bachelor in Business program conducted by three of the world’s leading business schools: USC Marshal, Bocconi University and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and has been taking classes in the US, Asia and Europe. Prahlad Pant is an undergraduate at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business concentrating in Finance & Strategy. He has lived in 5 countries across 3 continents. Raiyaan Movania is an undergraduate at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business concentrating in Finance. He has a variety of interesting internship across a few industries. Julio Leon is an MBA candidate at Harvard Business School and earned his undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management from Florida International University. Prior to HBS Julio had several roles in Operations at Amazon.

Summer fun in San Francisco. Some of the SF team did an "escape room adventure" after work yesterday. It was a great team building exercise and we are really proud of our crew for working so well together in planning and executing their "escape" using very few clues. Everyone played a part in our escape and had so much fun. #teamwork #consulting
We had the first tranche of class of 2023 graduates join our New York area office this week and after the first day of orientation which was held at our Greenwich CT location they headed off to one of our favorite local establishments for a "Welcome to Mars" happy hour with other consultants from the office. It is a good way to get to know each other over cocktails. Here is a pic of the some of the group assembling in our office courtyard prior to heading out.
We had a happy hour last week to welcome our NY area office summer interns. We are very happy to have 3 undergrad and 2 MBA interns with us this summer to experience Strategy Consulting and be part of our team.

Andrew “Andy” McBurney is a rising Senior at Dartmouth College’s Thayer School of Engineering where he is majoring in Quantitative Social Science. He is also Captain and President of Dartmouth’s Club Hockey Team. We are very excited to have them plus Selina Sun, Liz Johnson and Kyle Krell (who all started a couple of weeks ago), on our team of summer interns and wish them all great success in working with our clients as we help them address interesting and challenging strategic/operational issues in their businesses this
