Here’s a behind‑the‑scenes look from the Marvin factory floor in Warroad: Our team recently completed this large Round Top Window assembly from our Ultimate collection—a project that required precision, coordination, and expertise at every step. Sean Miller shared "I wanted to take a moment to shoutout to the entire Marvin Round Top group for their incredible work on this project. This assembly involved contributions from approximately 70 different employees across various areas. The attention to detail in this hand-crafted assembly is truly impressive." We're humbled to share that fourth-generation family leaders Paul, Dan, Christine, and Will Marvin were recognized with 2026 EY Entrepreneur of the Year honors in the Heartland Region last night. When George G. Marvin founded the business 114 years ago, he had a vision: to do right by his community, employees, and customers in Warroad, Minnesota. Today, the Marvin family sustains that legacy with dynamic stewardship, growing and innovating while maintaining the values that set Marvin apart. When accepting last night's award, CEO Paul Marvin shared gratitude to the community of Warroad, the nearly 9,000 Marvin employees, and to the EY judging panel for their belief in what Marvin stands for. To all those who made this recognition possible, thank you.
Marvin was proud to support and participate in the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce (FMWF Chamber)’s Corporate Cup on Thursday, May 21—an exciting day of friendly competition and teamwork. Corporate Cup brings together local businesses for a series of high-energy, team-based challenges designed to promote collaboration and a little healthy competition. Teams put their skills to the test across a variety of events, from tug of war and Hungry Hungry Hippos to speed puzzling and more. This year, Marvin’s team—The Yellow Roses—was inspired by the meaning behind the yellow rose: friendship. Throughout the day, our team embodied that spirit, bringing positivity, encouragement, and teamwork to every event, while also living out our Marvin values. As a small gesture to spread that message, team members handed out yellow roses to fellow competitors and event volunteers—sharing appreciation and reinforcing the sense of community that defines Corporate Cup. In return, The Yellow Roses were honored with the Sportsmanship Award, recognizing the team that demonstrates outstanding respect, encouragement, and support for fellow competitors and volunteers alike. We’re grateful to the Chamber for hosting such a memorable event and proud of our team for representing Marvin with enthusiasm, integrity, and a true spirit of friendship.
There's something special about seeing a product through the eyes of young artists. Second-grade students at Clarksburg Elementary School in Massachusetts recently created advertisements for Marvin Scenic Doors, and their drawings captured the essence of what these doors are meant to do: connect indoor spaces with the natural beauty outside. Their creativity and attention to detail reminded us why we do what we do: to help people capture and enjoy the views that make their homes special. Thank you to the students, Shealee Cooke, and our partners at R.K. Miles for this meaningful project.
In 1961, our Warroad facility burned in a devastating fire. Thankfully, no employees were injured, but the blaze brought uncertainty: would the family choose to rebuild elsewhere, or at all? For George G. Marvin, the answer was easy. Marvin would remain in Warroad: “We’ll start tomorrow, and we’ll build it bigger and better.” Today, Warroad is still home to our headquarters, and we employ more than 2,000 local employees. While we’ve expanded throughout the U.S., the community remains a crucial piece of both our history and our future.
On Friday, our Ripley team had the honor of hosting community leaders and educators at our local facility to introduce a new pre-apprenticeship program for area students. Marvin will partner with the Lauderdale County School System to offer students the opportunity to engage in hands-on work experience that prepares them for careers in modern manufacturing. We’re grateful for the opportunity to help bring this initiative to life and are excited to connect with more exceptional budding talent in Ripley!
Last Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of students from the NDSU College of Business Sales Program to Warroad as part of our continued and valued partnership with the university. During their visit, students connected with members of our HR and Sales teams through engaging panels and Q&A sessions, where they asked thoughtful questions and gained insight into how to prepare, interview, and succeed in a future sales career. Students were also challenged to put their skills to the test through a speed interview competition focused on resumes, elevator pitches, and interview techniques, all based around our Sales Trainee role. Participants received access to the live job posting tied to the competition, which is currently open for graduating seniors exploring full-time opportunities. We’re grateful for the opportunity to share Marvin and the Warroad community with such an engaged and impressive group of students, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with NDSU while supporting the next generation of professionals.
