On April 15, New Home Star hosted its entirely virtual national call night with a new twist. While the firm’s Teleblitz event typically focuses on agents setting as many appointments as possible with prospective buyers, this season’s event was adjusted to accommodate the current state of the housing industry. New Home Star’s Corporate team planned a Kentucky Derby-themed night with a collective goal for agents to call individuals on their backlog and interest lists to touch base and collect Google reviews. The event included virtual raffles with instant prizes and fun surprises to engage and motivate the national team as they participated in the initiative.
Pro Builder has unveiled its annual 40 under 40 list of rising stars in the homebuilding industry. New Home Star employee Aaron Wagner, Director of Organizational Learning, is among the honorees profiled in this year’s March/April issue. From a competitive field across the country, 19 women and 21 men were selected as recipients of this highly competitive award. “We are so excited and proud to have Aaron representing our organization in this year’s 40 Under 40,” says New Home Star Vice President of Organizational Development, Keith McKinney. “His journey to this prestigious honor has been incredible to witness, and his hard work and dedication to succeed are admirable.”
New Home Star, the nation’s leading new home selling company, based in Elmhurst, Illinois, made the list for the distinguished Crain’s Chicago Best Places to Work award. Crain’s joined forces with the Best Companies Group to survey employers and employees through an extensive two-part survey. Among the submissions, the top 100 were chosen based on workplace experience, culture, benefits, policies, and practices.

As a result of the Holiday Cheer initiative we had this month, New Home Star was able to match our employees' contest submissions with 156 donations to Toys for Tots! We're happy to collaborate with our team and with the Elmhurst Fire Department to spread some holiday magic to children in need this year.
