Meet Sharon Rudd, Driver Manager at Bristol, WI Terminal 197. Five years ago, Sharon was hired as a payroll specialist and after 18 months on the job, a position opened up in dispatch for a Driver Manager. Sharon knew this would be an opportunity to be more involved in the day-to-day operations of the terminal and it allowed her to interact with Professional Drivers more consistently, which was her favorite part of the role. Sharon's favorite memory at QC so far is the driver ride-along she did in April, where she was able to get out of the office and experience everything our drivers go through firsthand. Sharon shared, "It was definitely worthwhile to be able to perform certain driver functions during that load and see everything that applies to safety, load requirements, equipment, customer service, and the overall driving experience. I have a much greater appreciation for all the drivers do and how I might be able to make their jobs easier." Sharon, thank you for all you do for QC, Terminal 197, and our Professional Drivers.
