Meet Catalina Corralejo, Dispatcher at terminal 145. She has been with QC for over one year. Catalina has over 25 years of experience in the industry. In 2021 she joined Quality Carriers as a Dispatcher for an affiliate-owned terminal, which recently converted to a company terminal. Over the years Catalina has held different roles but Dispatcher has been the role she enjoyed the most. "Every day there is a challenge as you try to put all of the pieces together for our customers but there is also a sense of daily accomplishment once you do get all of those pieces put together," Catalina shared. Meet Jessica Pearson, Driver Manager at Terminal 197. She has been with the QC for over a year. Jessica was in the freight business for six years prior to coming to QC. She enjoys the office environment, the teamwork at terminal 197, and getting to interact with our professional drivers on the phone or at the office. On most days Jessica goes home and her face hurts from all the laughs they shared during the day at the terminal.

Last month, more than 150 CSX and Quality Carriers employees joined Operation Gratitude to celebrate Operation Gratitude’s annual Christmas in July Campaign. Volunteers helped fill 5,000 care packages to show our collective appreciation for our brave U.S. service men and women. A huge thank you to all the volunteers and speakers for taking part in this meaningful event!
Meet Laura Miller, Director of Operations. She has been with QC for 13 years. In 2009, Laura started working for an affiliate terminal as a file clerk. Her attention to detail and desire to learn about the industry lead her to hold several roles at the terminal. In 2017, Laura transitioned to a company terminal where her role was focused on operations management. The transition gave her the opportunity to work with and learn from amazing teams. The learning experience has helped Laura grow from an entry level position to a Director of Operations. Laura shared she would not be where she is today without her team members and Professional Drivers. Laura, thank you for all you for QC and our Professional Drivers.

Meet Alyssa Pulphus-Bourgeois, Field Safety and OSHA Compliance Manager at QC. She has been with QC for over four years. You may recognize her name from our weekly safety tips this month. In the last 14 years, Alyssa has worked within the manufacturing, chemical transportation and logistics industries with roles in Operations and Safety Leadership. Alyssa earned her MBA at Lenoir Rhyne University and various safety certifications from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. Alyssa's mission at QC is to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our employees to work in by complying with QC's rules, state and federal regulations. Alyssa shared she enjoys interacting with various people at multiple locations from all levels of the organization. Her favorite memory so far with QC is assisting the Safety Department with the implementation of the Intelex - Incident Management System. This was a great opportunity for her to develop new skills and work with both the Company and Affiliate locations. Thank you, Alyssa, for all you do! You are a valuable team member to QC.

Meet Belinda Perez, Senior AR Analyst. She has been with QC for 10 years. Belinda is the primary point of contact regarding account management for our Mexico customers and some of our major US accounts. Belinda works daily with different terminals, sales professionals and customers. She enjoys working with her AR team, saying that they get great support and enjoy a good laugh, joke or cry every now and then. Belinda has three sons, 13 grandchildren and two great-grandsons that keep her busy when she is not assisting our customers. Thank you for all you do for QC and our customers, Belinda!

Shelly's current role as a Safety Specialist/ICCCS keeps her schedule busy ensuring regulations like FRA, OSHA, EPA and DOT are being followed for everyone's safety. On a daily basis, she has the opportunity to work with a great group of professional men and women drivers.
