Upon joining QC, Katie had a background in logistics from household moves to dispatching concrete mixers. To this day she is still amazed at all of the things she has learned about this industry. Katie is a valuable asset to the drivers at terminal 846. Her favorite memory so far has been the chili cookoff they recently had after their safety meeting. Everyone brought their "A" game with a turnout of nine different chilies. A fun fact is both of her dogs are named after Star Wars characters. Cynthia started her career in transportation in 2005 as a Regional Safety Manager at QC. Prior to joining QC, she worked in the environmental, health, and safety consulting industry for 14 years. In her first two years, Cynthia was able to serve as an instructor at the new hire school for drivers and represented QC at the Responsible Care Conference. A year later, after the conference, she was able to position QC as the first certified partner company. Shortly after Cynthia was promoted to the Director of Safety. Cynthia enjoys hearing different perspectives at each level within QC. She connects those perspectives to ensure regulatory compliance and management systems conformance across QC. Thank you, Cynthia, for all you do for QC! We are beyond proud of you and your accomplishments.
